Projects and Initiatives

Since its inception, CHISOM has been dedicated to implementing inclusive interventions to support orphans and children in Mpigi.

Basic Education Support

Enabling orphans and disadvantaged youth to access and complete primary education, with significant achievements including 759 children enrolled and 80% of primary school graduates advancing to secondary education.

Health, Food, and Nutrition Security

Addressing household poverty and food insecurity through nutrition support, including the distribution of sweet potato and amaranth seeds, and training in kitchen gardening for caregivers.

Child Protection and Economic Strengthening

Enhancing the well-being of children and caregivers by providing vocational training, supporting income-generating activities, and fostering community resilience through Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs).
